“A nation’s strength is determined by how it treats its weakest members.” (Mahatma Gandhi)
While school and university education caters for the formation, knowledge and skills, Internal Education emphasises on the character building and self-transformation whose source of reference is the Bhagwad Gita. Wisdom is simply knowledge of internal education which includes human values, ethics and moral which create a universal character. The secular world praises external education, that is, formation, knowledge and skill but unfortunately too many people are ignorant of internal education. Consequently, we can say that most of the family, social, economic and political problems emerge because of lack of internal education which is the basis of eradicating the root of extreme poverty in Mauritius together with all the causes associated.
New actions and resolutions need to be taken to improve and reinforce those already existent and hence keeping them up to date.
