    Description:
Mauritius being an open country, is vulnerable to security threats such as sectarian forces and terrorist influences. These threats are particularly difficult to detect and monitor given their stealthy operation.

Moreover, in case of crisis, it will prove difficult to evacuate certain strategic locations (for example Port-Louis and Ebene) because of the concentration of activity in these areas and the lack of adequate evacuation channels as indicated by the regular peak hour congestion therein.

    Potential Solutions:
Increase sensitization campaign which may be included in the educational curriculum.
